The 2010 MJHL Draft Went This Past Sunday

At their annual league meeting recently, the MJHL has announced serveral changes for the upcoming 2010/2011 season.

Highlighted changes as follows:

- The implementation of the 2 Referee and 2 Linesman (Four Man) officiating system for the 2010-2011 season. 100 out of 330 League games will be assigned using the Four Man officiating system.

- A line change will not be permitted by a team if they shoot the puck over the glass from their defensive zone.

- The second rule change involves adopting the NHL rule whereby, if a penalty is called the initial power play would be located in the defensive zone of the penalized team.

- Beginning with the 2011 – 2012 season each MJHL club will be required to dress for each game a minimum of Five (5) players who are 18 years of age or under.
